Dr. Saumya Prajapati is dedicated to helping patients achieve strong, healthy gums and bones — the foundation of every confident smile. She believes in treating the whole patient, offering thorough evaluations and comprehensive treatment plans that often involve close collaboration with other dental specialists to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Prajapati is highly skilled in a wide range of surgical procedures, including site development, sinus augmentation, esthetic dental implants, and soft tissue surgery. Her approach combines advanced techniques with a gentle, compassionate touch, working alongside her patients to set and achieve treatment goals tailored to their needs.
Originally from India, Dr. Prajapati earned her dental degree from one of the country’s top dental schools, practicing general dentistry before moving to the United States. She went on to earn a PhD in Craniofacial Biology from the University of Southern California (USC), where she conducted groundbreaking research on growing artificial enamel. She later obtained her Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD) in Periodontics from the University of Washington and achieved Board Certification. Her research contributions have been published in multiple world-renowned scientific journals.
Outside the office, Dr. Prajapati enjoys time with her husband and two children, balancing her passion for dentistry with her love for family.
Dr. Schuler , Dr. Med. Dent, MSD
BOARD-CERTIFIED PERIODONTIST
Dr. Schuler is an Affiliate Associate Professor at the University of Washington and he has lectured at national and international dental conference in Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Mexico, Canada and here in the United States
Dr. Schuler graduated in 1991 with his dental degree from the Friedrich-Alexander University of Erlangen/ Nuremberg, Germany. Following graduation, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor in the Prosthodontics department at the University of Cologne. After successfully defending his Dr. Med. Dent. thesis, Dr. Schuler left academia to practice general restorative dentistry in Erlangen. In 2000, he relocated to Seattle and began 3 years of highly specialized periodontal and implant training at the University of Washington. After graduation, Dr. Schuler was selected to be an Affiliate Assistant Professor in the Department of Graduate Periodontics at the University of Washington.
Dr. Schuler is licensed to practice in Washington State and Germany. He is a board certified Periodontist and Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, the highest honor awarded in his field. Dr. Schuler has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals and is currently lecturing at national and international events. He is an active member of several dental organizations including the Seattle-King County Dental Society, the Washington State Society of Periodontists, the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Periodontology, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
